Thats true. One of our clients, in fact, paid us $20,000 for a link to its website from us. Its site is on a few thousand other directories and the link was on a few thousand other sites. So it was a pretty big deal for him to pay us for this link. However, it wasn’t the only big deal.

It was pretty much the first big deal. Our client was a small, local business in Portland, Oregon. He had three websites. One was the one he owned the domain name for, and two were his personal sites. The third was the one we bought the link for. The link was on the third website too.
