The impregnation nation is another one of my favorite sites, so I figured I’d share with you a few of my own personal reflections on becoming a child of God. I used to think that being a child of God meant that I was going to be a perfect person who followed the rules, was always good in everything, and never had to make a single mistake. I just thought that being a child of God was a lot like being a child of the Roman Catholic Church.
Yeah, I thought that was what I was thinking, too. I’m not a Catholic, but I think that’s really the same thing. I mean, it is easier to explain why I think that it is, but it’s easier to explain why I don’t think that it’s the same thing. I could say that I wanted to be a perfect person, and if I’m going to live my life by the rules, I wanted to be a perfect person.
Im not a Catholic either, so that could be a good explanation for why Im not Catholic. But it is possible that a perfect person wouldn’t think that being a child of God is a lot like being a child of the Church. And because of that, impregnation nation could be a good way for us to think about it. Im not a Catholic. Im a Protestant.

If you’re a practicing Catholic or Protestant, then you can’t be impregnated by another person. But if you’re a practicing Protestant, you can.

So why do some of us think Christianity is a religion of perfection? Because the Church is perfect. The Catholic church is perfect because the Roman Catholic church is perfect. The Protestant church is perfect because the Protestant church is perfect. The Anglican church is perfect because the Anglican church is perfect. The Methodist church is perfect because the Methodist church is perfect. So in other words, the Church isnt perfect. Im not perfect, but Im not perfect for you or anyone else.
Imperfection is the idea that no one is perfect and that we are all subject to sin and therefore can never be 100% satisfied with reality. Imperfection is not necessarily a bad thing. A person who is imperfect is also still a person.
