I am currently working on a book on marketing for creative people, and it is going to be a lot of fun. I have been working on it in my free time for months now, I hope it’s done.

It takes a whole lot of work to write a book and it could take all of a day to edit. But I like to plan ahead and get things done before I go to sleep. If you have a book that’s been cooking at the back of your brain for a while, you’d probably be well served to get some sleep.

The problem with planning ahead, is that when you plan, you dont know when you will need to plan again. As the saying goes, “Planning is one of those things that makes things go right.” Planning, and the right planning, is something that just doesn’t come naturally. We can only do the “Planning” that we do when we are on a task. When we are not doing anything, then we are living in the “Planner” state.

This is perhaps one of the best things about being a creative person. You aren’t in control of your schedule, nor do you have to find a way to make it happen. What we are in control of, is our schedule. If you are a creative person, you should also be able to plan how and when to work.

Thats right. We all have that little voice that tells us we have to work, and that we have to get it done. We have those little voices that tell us we have to do work, and that we are the only ones who can do it. That is true in our busy lives, but it doesnt have to be the case in our creative lives.

I think people need to realize that the best way to make sure your work has to be done in a predictable and predictable way is to schedule your work. I’m sure there are a few people out there who are doing this that don’t try to do it in a predictable predictable way. But that’s the way you work.

It’s not just the work. It’s the expectations. If you are not working for yourself, then you will have to deal with the expectation that your work has to be done by someone else. Not only that, you are also dealing with the expectation that you are the only person who can do it. No one else is going to do it for you.

I have to admit that I am probably one of those people who expects that everyone else will understand how we do things. I think this is the biggest problem with most marketing. It is not that everyone understands marketing, it is that there is no one who is good at marketing. How many times have you received an e-mail or a letter from someone who sounds like they understand marketing, then later find out that they are not good at it.

What’s a good marketing tactic? It’s hard. It’s probably not a good idea to send out an e-mail or a letter to an entire company. It’s not that hard to send out a marketing message on LinkedIn or Facebook, but when you send out a letter, you are sending a message to a person. This is why it is so hard to get the word out on marketing.
